About the Role

We are currently looking to recruit a knowledgeable, personable individual with training and over 5 years’ experience in site/ground investigation, Geology, Geo-environmental analysis, Engineering Geology, Civil Engineering or similar.

You will join our friendly team of site investigation specialists across the country as a Senior Engineer, working out of our York office. You will undertake fieldwork supervision, soil and rock logging, and factual report writing. We work in a wide variety of sectors including utilities, industrial and commercial, education new build, highways and rail infrastructure, contaminated land redevelopment, onshore and offshore energy and environmental.

Our team members:

- Are knowledgeable about a wide range of site investigation techniques and associated ground investigation specifications, procedures, techniques, British Standards, Eurocode 7 and codes of practice, ICE and NCE contracts and the effective administration of them.

- Are fully trained in health and safety training schemes such as CSCS, SMSTS, and CDM 2007 Regulations.

- Take pride in excellent data presentation using the latest industry software

  • Are suitably qualified

  • Are able to use a computer and MS Office to create spreadsheets and other documents for effective reporting, communication and record-keeping

  • Hold a full UK driving licence
