Regional Operation Manager (ROM)

About the Role

We are looking for a Regional Operations Manager (ROM) with strong Project Managing skills to head up our long-established South West office in Exeter.


You will be responsible for leading and managing a regional team of Engineers, looking after day-to-day administrative duties, operations and sharing the role of managing projects within the office.

What you'll do:

Working in a smaller Regional Office is fast paced with constantly changing programmes, varying workloads and differing contractual arrangements. You will be proactive and solution focused, and enjoy working flexibly, turning your hand to many aspects of the ground investigation process including:


· Commercial and Contract Management

· Personnel Management

· Client Liaison and Business Development

· Project Managing

· Project Planning

· Quality Assurance

· Health & Safety



What we're looking for:

The successful candidate will be self-motivated, have great people managing and communicating skills, with at least 10 years’ experience in the ground investigation industry including project management.
